What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files that your browser saves on your device. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose: a website can save data on your device. Both technologies are subject to the same rules.
What we actually store
- Your consent decision (local storage, key “prompt-inzynier-consent”) remembers your choice in the cookie banner. Strictly necessary; kept until you delete or change it.
- Prompt Engineering Studio data (local storage): your drafts, history and settings, saved only when you use the Studio. Necessary for the feature you request; it never leaves your device.
- Cloudflare technical cookies: our CDN provider may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example, for bot protection). They are not used for tracking or advertising.
We do not store your language choice, because it is part of the page address. Fonts are served from our own server, so displaying them does not connect you to third-party providers.
Categories
- Necessary: required for the website and the features you request to work. Always active; no consent needed.
- Analytics: would help us understand how the website is used. Off by default. We currently use no analytics tools.
- Marketing: would be used for personalised content and advertising. Off by default. We currently use no marketing tools.
Legal basis
Storing information on your device complies with the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej). Data that is strictly necessary to provide a service you request does not require consent. Analytics or marketing tools could only be enabled with your consent and, where personal data is involved, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
How to give or change consent
On your first visit you will see a banner where you can choose “Accept all”, “Reject optional” or “Customise” to pick categories yourself. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before withdrawal.
Managing storage in your browser
You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Note that clearing local storage also deletes the work you saved in the Studio.
Third-party tools
As of the date of this document, the website runs no third-party analytics or advertising tools. If this changes, we will update this document, and such tools will only be enabled with your consent.
Changes to this policy
This cookie policy may be updated. We will announce material changes visibly on the website. The current version applies from the date shown at the top of the document.
Language versions
This document is available in Polish, English, German and Ukrainian. Only the Polish version is legally binding; the other versions are provided for information. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
